Learning

Lives Outside.

FROGCaMP is an adventure-based forest school for early childhood.

FROGCaMP is a forest school built on the belief that childhood is meant to be active, curious, and outdoors. Instead of desks and rigid schedules, children learn through movement, imagination, and real-world discovery.

They read stories under trees. They create art from what they find. They hike, climb, navigate, and learn how to care for themselves and one another.

Above all, FROGCaMP is a place where childhood is respected. We cultivate curiosity, inclusivity, and community-building not through instruction alone, but through shared experience.

Not desks and doors. Dirt and discovery.

Small Groups. Big Support.

With a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio, every child is truly seen and supported. Our educators bring years of training and hands-on experience in Early Childhood education, guiding learning with intention, skill, and care.

Play Based Learning

Our program sparks all 5 senses to create learning that is felt, not just taught. Children form resilience and self-trust while exploring collaboration and responsible risk-taking, with art, music, and literacy embedded into each day.

Growing Leaders

In a classroom that spans ages 2 to 6, children learn to lead and to lean on one another. Older campers practice responsibility and empathy, while younger ones gain security and inspiration from those just a step ahead.

❊ Testimonials

Loved by Campers, Trusted by Parents.

Every morning I drop my son off, I feel genuinely grateful knowing he gets to spend his day outside, learning in the park and simply being a kid.

His confidence in his body has grown tremendously, and I’ve watched him mature in ways a traditional classroom could never replicate.

Nick D., Parent

What stands out most is how supported each child feels. The teachers truly know them. Our daughter has become more confident, more curious, and more willing to try new things.

It feels like she’s building real life skills, not just checking boxes.

Astrid C., Parent

Frog Camp has unlocked a level of creativity in our child that we hadn’t seen before.

The freedom to explore and direct his own play has made him more self-motivated and imaginative, and he now approaches new ideas with curiosity instead of hesitation.

❊ FAQs

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers

  • A typical day begins with an 8:30am drop-off and quickly moves into exploration. We might set out on a hike to a favorite zone, settle into a shaded spot for art and reading, or practice riding bikes with growing confidence. Each day is shaped by the energy and curiosity of the group, allowing learning to unfold naturally in response to the moment. Pick up is at 2:00pm.

  • FROGCaMPers bring their own backpack with snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. We have great recommendations for both backpacks and boots alike.

  • We’re well prepared for rainy days, and children arrive in proper rain gear ready to embrace the mud. When the weather turns especially wet, we gather under the covered structures at Travel Town or create our own tented spaces, continuing to play and learn comfortably outdoors.

  • Absolutely. We build endurance and resilience gradually, taking plenty of breaks to explore and learn along the way. We never push children beyond what feels comfortable, but you can count on them coming home happy and tired.
